I'm still stewing in all of my feels.
I loved Chaol and Celaena together in Crown of Midnight but I agree that they grew apart. Firmly in the Rowlin camp since Heir of Fire (also helps that I kind of imagine Rowan as a tall, silvery-haired version of my boyfriend without a beard... hahahaha). I think that Maas writes their growing relationship so well. A good pace with plenty of tension, just how I like it ;)
The amount of jaw-dropping moments was staggering. That scene with Arobynn and the ring had me screaming. The gent was like: WHAT IS GOING ON? Hahahah. I also totally didn't see the Perrington plot coming. Poor Kaltain. I'm so happy that she remembers that scene with Celaena in the dungeon. Big redeeming scene for her.
I just love ALL THE CHARACTERS. Aelin being reunited with Aedion just... delightfully happy. SO HAPPY. Haha.
The next book is going to have me crying I can feel. Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04905765158219079254noreply@blogger.com
